Recent inactivity by local police

A local woman, a friend of my wife has recently been left by her husband.
She is a self-employed hairdresser and faced Christmas alone.
Ex hubby is now being a bit of a tw@t and his recent trick was to let himself into her house and take her appointments book so depriving her of knowing what business she had to complete over Christmas.
He sneeringly told her she could have it back "in a couple of months" she asked the police for help; They told her it would be "two months" before they could send someone to take a statement.
She spent all Christmas and New Year sitting in her shop on so she did not anyone down for their hair appointment.
Another fan lost to the police.
When proposed new police stations are built and run by private companies I hope they don't include chairs in the offices as the lazy police don't like getting up off them.They really are lazy, bone-idle wasters

Tom Winsor gives UK police a good kicking

Reduce starting pay by up to £4,000 pa, sack 'em on a whim, regularly test their fitness, recruit senior officers off the street.
And I thought I hated the police.
As for their fitness the problem lies with the mouths of police officers. Too many lies coming out and too many donuts going in.
Where do they think they will garner support from. Ex miners, motorists?
